Simple CSV questions.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan handles up to 100 rows per file and covers manual CSV imports. Pro and Scale support unlimited rows and add advanced pricing and inventory rules. Pro includes 3 automations that can run every 6 hours, while Scale includes 7 automations that can run hourly. The Free plan never expires.
How does pricing work?
Pro is $19 per month, Scale is $49 per month. Both come with a 14-day free trial. Billed through Shopify, cancel anytime.
What CSV formats are supported?
We support standard CSV files with comma, semicolon or tab delimiters. UTF-8 encoding works best. Files can be uploaded from your computer or imported directly from a URL.
Can I update existing products instead of creating new ones?
Yes. Match your CSV rows to existing products by SKU, handle or product ID. Simple CSV updates the matched products without creating duplicates.
Are automated imports really automatic?
Yes. Pro includes 3 scheduled URL import automations that can run every 6 hours. Scale includes 7 automations that can run hourly. Simple CSV checks each URL on its schedule, downloads the latest CSV and applies updates automatically.
How big can my CSV files be?
The Free plan supports up to 100 rows per file. Pro and Scale support unlimited rows per file.
How do I know what my CSV should look like?
You can export a sample CSV from Simple CSV before you import. Choose between an empty template with just the headers, a template with placeholder data, or a sample of your existing Shopify products. This shows you exactly what column structure to use.
